ASEO works to support secular elected officials in being authentic about their beliefs and connect with each other for education, support, and fellowship. As more and more elected officials are willing to publicly identify as humanist, atheist, agnostic, and nonreligious, the bias against this community will diminish. These elected officials seek to advance public policy based on evidence, reason, and compassion, and work to protect the religious freedoms of people of all faiths and none.
