SmarAct’s PicoScale laser interferometer is a powerful tool for high accuracy non-contact displacement measurements. It is based on an extremely compact Michelson interferometer with picometer resolution. The PicoScan laser-scanning vibrometer is developed for megapixel imaging of vibrational modes of microscopic structures. Through raster-scanning, a tightly focused laser beam of a Michelson interferometer measures the vibrations for each pixel of the microscopic image.
