    • FoxBerry sensors have a small footprint (32.6 x 20 x 7.11mm)
    • Our sensor is ultra-low power thanks to a patented NDIR source. The consumption depends on the measurement rate, for normal measure (2Hz) the consumption is 2 mW. We can decrease to 150 µW for one measure every 10minutes.
    • With our skills and expertise, we calibrate our sensor over the range to have a high accuracy and a sensor plug and play.
    • Thanks to the double beam technology used by our sensors, the accuracy is maintained without recalibration.
    • The FoxBerry integration is very simple and fast, with a two signals UART interface.

    • Data comes from eLichens sensors network that have been deployed around the city; as well as data from Atmo Auvergne-Rhônes-Alpes reference stations. Moreover, the ongoing collaboration with Atmo-Auvergne-Rhônes-Alpes has allowed eLichens to improve its stations calibration process.

    • Using its patented high-resolution models and proprietary Air Quality hardware stations, eLichens was able to produce such high accuracy maps which include 10 meters resolutions, real-time air-quality information and 24 hours forecast for major pollutants such as Particulate Matter (PM2.5 & PM10), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), Ozone (O3) and Carbon Monoxide (CO).

    How to access our map ,

    • The map can be viewed at map.elichens.com.
    • After creating an account with your email adress, you will be given a username and a password to access the map.
    • Concentrations and air quality index for the major pollutants are accessible via eLichens API after getting your api-key. More information about our API.
    • eLichens' goal is to offer valuable air quality information to the public, allowing informed decision making that can affect various aspects of daily life. For example, Air Quality can suddenly change and vary from one location to another, and by monitoring and presenting accurate information, Grenoble citizens can rapidly and simply identify the best path to work in the morning, best time to go for a run, avoid streets that can negatively affect people with respiratory disease, children and elderly.

  • Description

    We spend approximately 90% of our time indoors, at home, at school, at the office. However, some research has shown that the air within homes and other buildings can be more polluted than the outdoor air. Substances emitted from buildings, construction materials and indoor equipment or due to human activities indoors, such as combustion of fuel, cooking or cleaning can lead to important health problems.

    At eLichens, we think information is key to managing and improving air quality. That is why we have developed a complete solution to measure indoor air quality based on an autonomous sensing station that is versatile, configurable, compact, connected and cost effective. Our goal is to generate reliable and relevant data about the air you breathe.

    The eLichens Air Quality Station are low-power with a consumption depending on the alimentation source (battery or on power supply) and on the measurement frequency. The data are sent from the station to the eLichens Cloud by a wireless network (Radiofrequency networks, Wifi, BLE, 2G…) depending on the need of our customers. To prove robustness and repeatability the IAQM are calibrated, sensors data are adjusted with the use of algorithms and validated.
