Even with the highly advanced AI processing, the available sensor solutions are not evolving fundamentally, the physical information is from outside of material, and usually requires calculations to get to the necessary information, while sometimes being compromised by the outside factors in question.
The necessary advancement in the industries that fundamentally depend on precise measurements, hides within physical locations that cannot be accessed with the nowadays available off the shelf technologies
How:
At RVmagnetics we believe that accessing the very local information physically, and mining this real-time data from the local environment with a sensor - can improve manufacturing processes, help avoid and predict errors, and identify issues that are otherwise not possible to achieve (especially within the same time frames and accuracy).
Unique Selling Proposition:
We are sole manufacturers of MicroWire sensors, thin and elastic like human hair that helps overcome sensing obstacles and provide temperature, pressure, and other physical quantities from otherwise inaccessible spaces. They need no physical connection to provide measurements (based on magnetic principles), thus we are able to provide contactless, real-time data from otherwise inaccessible physical locations.
Some of the main markets of our involvement are Composite Materials, El. Motors and Batteries industries - be it Aerospace, Automotive, Civil Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, etc. - being able to monitor the structural integrity of a material, process, or part of the application is what we strive to address in better ways.
Team & Organization:
Prof. Rastislav Varga as the CTO manages to help all the scientists from different backgrounds to “speak the same language” when creating a new solution. Over 70% of our team is R&D members, most of them with PhD. from MicroWire technology in chemistry, physics, electronics, electromechanics, engineering, and industrial design. RVmagnetics is based in Kosice, Slovakia, EU. It was established in 2015, currently has 16 employees, and is VC-funded. Our Business type is primarily B2B, and the beneficiaries of our solutions are mostly businesses.
As our work is to create new applications that are enhanced with MicroWire sensors - we are included in advanced TRLs, however, to identify the general answer “a functioning prototype” seems the best way to describe it.
We have 120+ NDA signed (8x from Fortune 500 companies) and 10 clients (1x fortune 500 companies). The company stage is a Seed. Revenue for 2020 (447.000)
We are looking for Strategic PARTNERS who act as adopters/clients/integrators to productize a fully developed technology.
