ThingsMatrix’s smart gateway solutions revolutionize the customer’s commercial coolers. It supplies the power to the coolers and collects their energy data, which in turn allows for the detection of cooler issues in real time and also provides its geo-location information so that maintenance can be easily implemented in order to reduce downtime. Additionally, when the plug loses external power, it triggers real time location tracking via indoor Wi-Fi/LBS, or in the event of the cooler being stolen via outdoor GPS.

Key feature is the collection of temperature and humidity sensor data inside and outside of the cooler using BLE technology and send to the cloud via cellular LTE technologies. Door activity is monitored and saved, allowing the customer to collect and process statistical data that can be used in beverage marketing and sales programs.

The devices are managed with batch parameter setting capabilities and data is processed using ThingsMatrix platform, where customer can query the data through API calls.
