Founded in 1946, Fujian Oriental Tea Co. Ltd. is based in Zhenghe Town, Nanping City, at the Wuyi Mountains' foothills. Zhenghe, the birthplace of Chinese white tea, was renamed in 1115 by Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty in honor of its renowned tea. ORTEA has built on ancestral tea-making techniques, advancing its craft over five generations. From small-scale cultivation, it has grown into a leader in organic tea production, managing certified organic tea gardens, a processing facility, and a 10,000-square-meter bamboo tea ware factory in Zhenghe. ORTEA also operates retail outlets nationwide and is expanding its reach.
ORTEA integrates tea and bamboo production, processing, and sales. Its offerings include premium Fujian teas like white, oolong, and black tea, as well as EU-certified organic teas from partner gardens, such as green tea, matcha, Pu’erh, herbal teas, and jasmine tea.
