Senorics is a high-tech company from Dresden, Germany, using its technology to make near-infrared spectroscopy mass market ready.
When using this type of spectroscopy, a sample is irradiated by near-infrared light. Using the algorithms developed by Senorics, the content of the sample can be identified by the wavelengths of the reflected light.
The company, founded in 2017, is a spin-off of the University of Technology Dresden.
Senorics offers novel sensors, which can be used to analyze and quantify the contents of materials, e.g., synthetics and textiles, with minimal effort.
The sensors are very small, low-cost, extremely powerful, and robust against external influences like vibration. Thus, the technology is ideally suited for material analysis and quantification, e.g., in home appliances, mobile electronics, handheld devices or in-line production systems.
With the SenoCorder Solid, Senorics is also offering a ready-to-use handheld device for textile identification.
