  • FOTEMP-C15 and FOTEMP-MN30 for embedded OEM applications

    The new FOTEMP-MN30 and FOTEMP-C15 are compact OEM fiber optic temperature sensing modules designed for precise measurement in extreme and electrically sensitive environments. Based on GaAs optical technology, both systems deliver high accuracy (±0.2°C) across a wide range from -200°C to +300°C and are fully compatible with TS series probes. Immune to EMI, RFI, high voltage, microwaves, and radiation, they are ideal for medical, energy, and industrial applications. The MN30 offers a miniature PCB form factor (1-2 channels) for embedded integration with a limited multichannel capability (1-2) and broad array of built-in interfaces  - USB-C, RS232, TTL-UART and RS485/ModbusRTU.  The C15 provides a rugged, compact multi-channel  (1–4) module with optional analog  output, programmable relays, along with USB  RS-485/ModbusRTU interfaces.  Both products provide flexible system connectivity and real-time data acquisition.

The MR380 system meets the ESTOP functional requirements per ISO 13850 and NFPA 79, and classified as a Category 2 Functional Safety device per ISO 13849-1.

    The compact Bench Top FOTEMP-C20 is a 1-4 channel fiber optic thermometer suitable for the end user or OEM applications. Together with the TS series fiber optic temperature sensors, the FOTEMP-C20 thermometer system is the ideal solution for monitoring temperature in microwave, high frequency, high voltage, magnetic or aggressive environments where metal temperature sensors (RTC, TC, etc.) are either inaccurate or hazardous.

    The measurement principle is based on the inherent optical properties of gallium arsenide (GaAs) with temperature.
