Ontario’s Advanced Manufacturing Consortium (AMC) is a partnership between McMaster University, University of Waterloo and Western University that connects industry collaborators to world-class facilities and research expertise in automotive, advanced materials, additive manufacturing, robotics, wireless and more. AMC’s objective is to accelerate innovation in the manufacturing sector through creation of new products, production methods and processes that will generate jobs and uphold Ontario as leading manufacturing region. AMC works with small, medium and large industry partners across a diverse range of markets, and facilitates understanding, assessing and de-risking of advanced manufacturing technologies.

Ontario’s AMC at Waterloo consists of the Multi-Scale Additive Manufacturing lab (MSAM), WatCAR Manufacturing, Centre for Intelligent Antenna and Radio Systems (CIARS) and the RoboHub.
