SW Lights Out Machining
Machine unattended for several shifts with SW’s BA W02-22i, featuring integrated automation and a vertical pallet storage capacity of 8 to 24 trays. It is a dual-spindle solution with a footprint of around 4 square meters.
SW’s signature monoblock design makes it stable and capable of high-precision machining. Applications are limited only by the size and material. There is 250 mm distance between the spindles with a z-axis working range of 300 mm, a y-axis range 350 mm and a tool change position of 525 mm. Further features include 25,000 rpm max spindle speed and a double swivel carrier for torsion-free flow of force from tool to workpiece carrier.
The integrated automation is a six-axis robot arm from FANUC that can access all areas of the machine. The BA W02-22i essentially feeds itself. If its trays are filled, it’s running.
