Tube measurement system with 400% higher resolution
The new TUBEINSPECT P16.2 HRC and TUBEINSPECT P8.2 HRC systems provide fast, fully optical measurement of tubes and tubular assemblies. With its speed and hands-off measurement, TUBEINSPECT HRC supports both manually-fed CNC bending and fully automated production operations.
The TUBEINSPECT optical tube and wire gauge have long been the gold standard for optimizing CNC tube bending operations with fast, accurate measurement and direct feedback of corrections to tube benders. The new HRC versions of the TUBEINSPECT systems feature 8 or 16 high-resolution cameras with four times higher resolution which enable new capabilities.
The HRC versions can perform dimensional inspection of tubular assemblies that include complex end fittings, end forms, brackets, and multiple tubes.
TUBEINSPECT HRC measures tubes with diameters ranging from 0.8-200mm, with accuracy from 35-85 microns.
Tubes up to 2.5m can be measured in a single snapshot and longer tubes are measured in multiple positions. Measurement times typically range from 10-30 seconds.
More manufacturers of tubular products are moving towards fully automated production cells. TUBEINSPECT HRC supports automated cells with its ability to check the product after each operation including bending, trimming, end forming, welding, and final assembly inspection, with robotic load and unload if desired.
