K&K Tool and Die Inc. just celebrated 50 years in business in 2019. We specialize in offering a complete system for producing precision stampings by making our Compound Master Dies and Interchangeable Insert Tooling.
By using the K&K compound die system you eliminate excessive die design, assembly and tryout. This system gives your company the advantage of lower cost tooling, ease of maintenance, quick changeover, and less storage without sacrificing accuracy and long tool life.
The master die is a precision two post steel or aluminum die shoe set with a knockout system, adjustable guides, and is key aligned for irregular shapes. The die is complete and will accept a variety of inserts up to the die capacity.
K&K Tool and Die has been supplying Insert Compound Tooling to satisfy a wide range of customer needs. These needs can range from blanking 0.001″ thick brazing alloys & shim stock, to gasket type materials, to .125 carbon steels.
K&K also provides the service of rebuilding “Hovis” High Speed Presses. We have provided extensive knowledge and experience with rebuilds of these types of presses for many years.
Originally specializing in small and miniature precision stampings, our die and tooling system has reached larger applications. This system spans a capacity from ¾” up to 8” parts in diameter. Stampings from this die system are used in the automotive, medical, electronic, infrastructure, jewelry and aerospace industries producing washers, shims, gaskets, laminations of all configurations and material types.
