FABTECH Booth Machine Demonstrations

Powered show machines will include a Patriot (dry) deburring, edge rounding and finishing machine with vacuum bed, along with the Mini 9, Mini 9M and Mighty 9M compact series of deburring and finishing machines for small, flat parts. Rounding out the show machines featured will be the RandBright RB 60D-1 centerless deburring and polishing machine. All machines will be shown with the latest series of Niagara Wet Dust Collectors.  Made in USA!

    New! Modular Design Platforms for Dry or Wet Deburring, Edge Rounding and Finishing Machines from Midwest Automation    

    At FABTECH 2021, Midwest Automation is pleased to exhibit their newest line of modular machine platforms with cartridge-style abrasive heads for wet or dry metal deburring, deslagging, edge rounding, laser oxide removal and finishing using common platforms and cartridge-style abrasive head assemblies.

    The line includes the Patriot (Dry) and Nautilus (Wet) series machines available in various models and numerous configurations to handle part widths from 9” to 62” wide using common modular platforms, cartridge-style abrasive head assemblies, and locally sourced component parts allowing maximum flexibility when building customized machines or systems for specific applications and solutions.

    Midwest Automation manufactures heavy-duty, industrial machines and systems using "built like a tank" U.S. labor and locally available parts and components when available. 

    The Patriot P2 3775 (Dry) with vacuum bed will be exhibited at FABTECH 2021 along with Midwest Automation’s line of Niagara wet dust collectors and Randbright centerless deburring and polishing machines. All designed and built in the USA!

    • RandBright (Dry/Wet) Centerless, Finishing, Polishing and Deburring Machines from Midwest Automation run a variety of abrasive belts, finishing wheels, wire brushes, and buffing wheels for grinding, finishing, deburring, brushing, and cleaning. 

    Applications include welded pipes, tubes, and stainless steel handrails as well as electrical motor rotors, medical devices, steering racks, automotive valves, camshafts, piston rings, brake calipers, transmission components, zirconium tubing, lighting features, diesel injectors, hydraulic piston rods, brass tubing, helicopter rotor pins, and more.

    Several models and systems are available depending upon customer requirements including the RB 30/60/80/120 Dry/Wet Series and Compact RB 10.

    Designed to efficiently clean or filter contaminated air in a variety of metal grinding, deburring or sanding operations that create metal dust and other abrasive media residue. Available in three series and 15 different models as well as compact models....
     

    • Niagara Wet Dust Collectors

    Niagara Wet Dust Collectors from Midwest Automation are made in USA and designed to efficiently clean or filter contaminated air in a variety of metal grinding, deburring or sanding operations that create metal dust and other abrasive media residue.  

    Dust particles are separated by mixing the contaminated air using water as a filtration media. Baffles create turbulence and divergent forces causing the metal dust to settle to the bottom of the tank as sludge. A special stainless steel secondary filter (mist eliminator) helps prevent moisture laden air or “mist” from entering the plant.  

    Niagara Wet Dust Collectors are specifically designed to efficiently and safely collect metal dust and potentially explosive materials. Available in five several different models and sizes, the Niagara line meets a wide variety of applications. Made in USA.

    Features include:

    • 100% stainless steel construction with 5 year limited warranty on tank
    • TEFC rated motors
    • Stainless steel impeller designed with backward curve blades balanced at 3,600 rpm
    • Secondary filter (mist eliminator)
