Using Dynamic Rotational Velocity, TORRENT washers impinge spray onto a substrate five or more times when compared to conventional washer technology. With a nozzle system designed to cover the substrate’s leading and trailing ends, the TORRENT process maintains an even spray pattern using up to 75% less spray volume compared to conventional stationary nozzle systems. This extreme efficiency results in lower pump HP, lower energy input requirement for heated solution and a highly effective use of the chemicals. The net effect when compared to conventional washers is 67% less electrical usage and 77% less gas usage. Our wash systems feature with built-in tank sludge removal, a magnetic separator using rare earth magnets for ferrous fines and chip removal, oil coalescing filter, and a complete VFD-Motor program to run Pumps and Fans at optimum performance curves. TORRENT is featured on Mono-Rail, Drum, Cabinet, and Belt Washers.

Ulta High Efficiency Zirconium Filtration System - A sand-type filter is often the preferred means of filtration for a metal pretreatment process with a zirconium stage. The filter media can be sand or glass for increased media lovevity. The filter tank, pump, and controller are skid mounted. The pump solution flows from the zirconium stage tank, through the filter, and back to the zirconium stage tank. Eductors are used in the zirconium stage tank for increased circulation within the tank. The variable speed pump can be controlled to a constant flow, automatically adjusting for varying operating conditions; or it can be controlled to a constant motor speed. The pump can be operated by the timer on a schedule or for a set duration. The pump can also be turned on/off in manual mode.

Water Treatment System with Reverse Osmosis – the Complete Water Treatment System includes the following:

• Carbon filter, FRP tank, and brass control valve, for chlorine removal from city water supply.
• Duplex water softener, FRP tanks, water meter, salt tank with salt grid and safety shutoff float, for removal of mineral hardness from the water supply.
• Reverse Osmosis machine to reduce the incoming water total dissolved solids by 97-98%.
• Transfer pump to continuously circulate the stored RO water and pressurize the water going out to distribution.
• Poly RO water storage tank.
• Flow controller with internal piping to continuously circulate and mix the RO water.
• Conductivity meter and sensor for remote monitoring of the stored water quality.
• UV light in 316 SS housing installed in the RO storage tank recirculation line piping, for bacteria kill.

Oil Coalescer 6000 – The unit is located next to the washer and works in a side stream fashion, drawing a water/oil mixture off the top using a floating head and diaphragm pump. The fluid is routed through a filter bag and then through multi-matrix plastic coalescing media. The removed oil is routed to a container for disposal by the customer. The remainder of the fluid is returned to the washer. Coordination with the chemical vendor is recommended.

The CYCLONE Oven-System generates unparalleled uniform oven temperature curves utilizing up to 75% less energy when compared to coventional technology. Starting with 6" insulated walls for 30% better heat retention versus 4" walls, the oven shell is comprised of solid welded 3/16" plate, eliminating any run-down along panel seams. The exterior shell is 500% thicker than panel construction, which gratly enhances thermal retention inside the oven. The CYCLONE technology significantly increases airflow to allow greater heat transfer to the substrate, all while maintaining excellent uniformity. A variable frequency drive-motor control package for all fan motors, allow optimal flow rate tuning and maximizing heat transfer to the substrate.
