The TEC-220 is a powerful Collaring machine for up to SCH 40 pipes. The TEC-220 forms mechanically extruded outlets up to Ø 8” directly on run pipes up to 32" main pipes. The machine is suitable for branching all malleable materials.
Pilot hole milling and collaring are easily controlled by an operation panel along with automatic lubrication for each step of the process. The standard branch programs can be loaded from machine memory. The operator can also create custom collaring programs or modify them from the standard programs.
A balancer makes the milling unit (EC) very easy to handle. For increased safety, sensors verify the collaring head is correctly installed before starting the fully automatic collar extrusion. After the quick and accurate trimming process, the branch pipe can be connected to a formed outlet either by orbital or manual welding.
