  • PPG ENVIROCRON LUM Powder Coating
PPG ENVIROCON™ LUM powder, the first commercial retroreflective powder, gives manufacturers the safety advantages of retroreflection and the performance benefits of powder: one-coat corrosion protection and exceptional resistance to chips and abrasions...

  • Retroreflective liquid paints and tapes are standard on machinery, guardrails, signage and safety gear to increase visibility in low-light conditions. This safety feature is now available in PPG ENVIROCON™ LUM, the first commercial retroreflective powder coating. PPG scientists developed a way to embed glass beads at the surface of the powder to redirect maximum light back to its source, giving vehicle operators more time to spot—and react to—upcoming roadway hazards. This patent-pending breakthrough gives manufacturers the safety advantages of retroreflection and performance advantages of powder:  one-coat corrosion protection, chip- mar- and abrasion-resistance, and a smooth finish in a wide array of colors.

  • PPG CORAFLON Platinum Powder
PPG CORAFLON® PLATINUM powder coating, a patent-pending FGIA/AAMA 2605 FEVE fluoropolymer, delivers enhanced single-coat corrosion performance, 20% higher transfer efficiency and an extended gloss range (5-85) compared to standard FEVE powders....

  • A pioneer in powder innovation, PPG has developed PPG CORAFLON® PLATINUM powder coating, a patent-pending FGIA/AAMA 2605 FEVE fluoropolymer. Compared to standard FEVE powders, this technology delivers enhanced single-coat corrosion performance, 20% higher transfer efficiency and matte to ultra-high gloss options (5-85) for specialty effects not previously possible. Expanded finish capabilities include the reflective, low-gloss look of anodized metal, smooth, matte velvet-touch textures with glossy specks, and coarse and micro textures that mimic natural elements like sand, stone or terracotta. Additional benefits are excellent coverage in recessed areas, fast film build with little waste and specifically formulated without major substances of concern, including VOCs, HAPs, BPA, TGIC and PFOA.
