  • A flange facing tool that creates a precise phonographic finish which meets ASME Bl6.5 standards and eliminates the need to cut and replace piping flanges has been introduced by Esco Tool of Holliston, Massachusetts.

    The Esco FLANGE HOG® 110 is a simple to use manually operated hand tool that lets users make process piping flange repairs virtually anywhere and eliminates the need to cut, bevel, and weld on new flanges. Featuring a long-lasting double edged carbide cutting bit, this flange facing tool produces a precise phonographic finish on RF and FF gasket seats.

    Providing 0.005" alignment accuracy, the Esco FLANGE HOG® 110 requires minimal operator training and comes as a complete kit. Easily squared to the pipe in a few seconds, it has an I.D. clamping range of 0.9" to 10.3" with a facing diameter up to 14". It can refinish carbon steel, stainless steel, alloyed steel, aluminum, cast iron, and other materials.

    The Esco FLANGE HOG® 110 is priced at $6,495.00 supplied as a complete kit with all necessary resurfacing components and is available for rent.

  • A pneumatic saw and pipe trolley system that is easy to operate and cuts a wide range of pipe materials including stainless steels, carbon steel, and concrete line pipe is available from Esco Tool of Holliston, Massachusetts.

    The Esco APS-438 Air Powered Saw and WrapTrack® System are designed to cut highly alloyed pipe perfectly square by providing a trolley that guides the saw around the circumference without wobbling. Ideal for repairing under­ ground steam lines in situ, the saw cuts perfectly square with no HAZ and leaves a smooth finish for end prepping or joining pipes with couplings.

    Designed to fit pipe from 6" to 60" dia., the Esco APS-438 Air Powered Saw and WrapTrack® System is_offered in 28 sizes of stainless steel bands that clamp onto the pipe and accept the saw which is mounted onto a trolley.

    Featuring a fiberglass reinforced blade, the operator simply maintains the blade's leading edge on the pipe to produce a cut with ±1/16" accuracy.

  • A portable pipe beveling tool that can accurately bevel, face, and bore pipes with the same outside diameter but different wall thicknesses has been introduced by Esco Tool of Holliston, Massachusetts.

    The Esco Wart MILLlIOG(!) Portable Pi' pe Beveler i' s a ri' ght angle I.D. clamping

    tool for performing any angle of end prep on O. 75" I.D. to 4" O.D. pipe of different schedules. Because it mounts securely into the pipe I.D. using a self-centering draw rod assembly, it can bevel, face, and bore different pipe thicknesses simultaneously to help assure high-integrity weld joints.

    Producing precise square and beveled pipe ends with± 0.001" accuracy, the Esco Wart MILLHOG® Portable Pipe Beveler lets users weld pipe O.D.s that have different schedules. Easy to operate, it comes with pneumatic or electric motors, requires no cutting fluids, and is ideally suited for onsite applications. A wide range of TiN coated blades are available.

    machined from 7075 aluminum alloy that is hard coated and supports a custom steel forged, heat-treated, and nickel-plated rotating ring. Easy to set up using indexable tooling, the machine squares itself to the pipe with clamps that accommodate four different pipe sizes using one set of pads.

    It incorporates one-piece pre-angled modules that mount to the tool slide and hold a 30°, 37-1/2 °, or custom angle cutting bit and an indexed trip mechanism that attaches quickly and precisely without shims or guesswork to advance the cutter into the pipe.
