Since 1932, Forney Industries has been one of America’s longest operating, family-owned, welding and metalworking companies. Our roots in innovation began with a revolutionary instant-heat soldering iron in the early 30s, followed by the first publicly available arc welder in the 1940s. Nearly a century later, Forney Industries offers thousands of metalworking products within four categories: welding, abrasives, personal protective equipment (PPE) and shop tools.

Forney has an extensive customer network across the nation, consisting of nearly 20,000 businesses in the automotive aftermarket, hardware, farm & ranch, do-it-yourself and industrial industries. With the third and fourth generation still at the company today, Forney Industries remains dedicated to our customers in addition to being an award-winning employer that values what it means to be innovative, genuine, exceptional and engaged.

  • Forney Air Compressors (ITEM# 555 & ITEM# 550)
Forney is excited to announce two new Fornair air compressors. These compressors offer quiet technology for indoor use, steel braided hoses resistant to bursting and cracking, an oil-free pump, and a large capacity tank to run longer with less downtime....

  • Forney's new Fornair air compressors are ideal for plasma cutting, nailers and staplers, blow guns, grease guns, and inflation.  These compressors were built to last with a steel tank for durability and lower RPM output for longer motor and pump life. They were designed for high efficiency with optimal PSI to operate pneumatic tools and a built-in moisture separator to deliver clean, dry air. These user-friendly machines have an oil-free pump that provides maintenance-free operation and large gauges for easy monitoring of tank and line pressure. Both of these air compressors are 4 gallons. ITEM# 555 offers 4.5 CFM @ 90 PSI and ITEM# 550 offers 2.5 CFM @ 90 PSI.
