At FABTECH 2022, we will demonstrate a range of automation solutions:

  • How our partner Melton Machine ensures increased throughput and production uptime with their automated machine tending solution
  • A seamlessly integrated paint application that reflects DURR and Kawasaki’s paint process and finishing expertise, featuring Kawasaki’s KJ155 robot and DURR’s paint hardware
  • How you can save an average of 74% of your programming time with Real Time Robotics' collision-free motion planning software, which will power two BX100N robots in an interactive spot welding application
  • A ready-to-weld cell provided by our partner SUMIG
  • An automated solution for random bin picking powered by Canon’s leading optical and processing technologies, featuring Kawasaki's NEW RS013N and RS007N robots

We talked to our staff, integrators, and customers. They all said the same thing, there is only one robot company that treats you like a human, cares about your business, and answers the phone when you call. With 50 years of experience and thousands of robots installed worldwide, Kawasaki is an automation partner you can trust.

  • NEW Kawasaki RS013N General-purpose Robot
The RS013N features a new arm structure design, lighter main unit and a 1,460 mm reach. It offers a full-body IP67 rating, internal Ethernet wiring, covered motors, waterproof electrical connections an great installation flexibility....

  • Kawasaki Introduces RS013N Medium Payload Robot to North American Market

The Evolution of Kawasaki’s R Series Continues

Kawasaki Robotics’ dedication to continuous improvement is evident in their general purpose robot line: the R series. With a history dating back to the mid-1980s, Kawasaki has continued to refine their general purpose robot arms over time, routinely producing robots with wider working ranges, faster cycle times, longer reach, and increased torque. Their latest model, the RS013N, is no exception.

What we’re seeing now is the next generation of Kawasaki’s R series. The industry-leading RS013N builds on the momentum started by the RS007N/L models in 2017 by offering a 13 kg payload capacity, small footprint and flexible, IP67-classified design, ideal for practically any general application for any industry.

    Industry Leading Speed & Flexibility
The new robot’s design includes a new arm structure and lighter main unit, which enables high speeds and a large working area. Its 1,460 mm reach is the largest in its class, allowing for installation flexibility and use in a wider variety of applications. The RS013N robot also leads its class in speed, resulting in reduced cycle times and increased productivity.

    Enhanced Versatility

In addition to its expanded work area, the robot’s wiring and installation options contribute to its overall flexibility. The robot’s internal Ethernet wiring enables easy connection to a vision system or other peripheral devices, and its floor, ceiling and wall mount options provide installation flexibility for any layout. The dust-tight RS013N offers a full-body IP67 rating, fully covered motors and waterproof electrical connections allow the robot to be used in virtually any environment, including food and cleanroom applications. Kawasaki’s next generation R series robots (RS007N/L and RS013N) also have reduced interference zones around the robot base, which allows the user to maximize their floor space and working area.

    Built for Longevity

Kawasaki’s new R series robots are designed with ease of use and longevity in mind. The motor has been moved and covered to protect it from harsh environments and workplace wear, and the new motor location on the base allows for enhanced protection and easier serviceability.
