Kepstan® PEKK is part of the PAEK family of ultra-high performance polymers. Its unique copolymer structure results in a material with high polarity, a relatively low melting point, and slow crystallization rate. These properties make Kepstan® PEKK easier to apply than alternative coatings while maintaining some of the highest performance characteristics available. Kepstan® PEKK powders are available in a range of grades suitable for electro-spray, fluidized bed, or liquid dispersion coating. Kepstan® PEKK coatings have extreme performance characteristics, but the requirements to apply a high quality coating are very accessible. The low melting temperature of PEKK means that most standard powder coating ovens can be used. Kepstan® PEKK does not require a primer. Kepstan® PEKK powder coating offers chemical resistance, higher temperature performance up to 260°C continuously, and extreme durability.
