Pax Products will showcase innovative methods for part & scrap removal and die & part lubrication.  The displayed conveying systems include shaker systems with Pax’s quick-release crossbar, which provides easy access to the die area, and belt conveyors with tilt, lift, and positioning features.  The displayed lubrication systems include Pax’s unique, roller coater design and modular lubrication systems that eliminate the need for long spray lines.

In addition to lubrication systems, belt conveyors, and shaker-type conveyors, Pax also manufactures a large range of press doors, which provide the safety of a hard barrier and a method of containing and controlling die lubricants.  Pax’s door offering includes vertically sliding, swing-out, powered, and acoustical designs.  All Pax equipment offerings have been thoroughly tested and are DESIGNED FOR STAMPERS BY STAMPERS.

 Press Releases

  • These multi-roll, Roller Coaters have a slim design that fits into tight areas.  The volume of lubrication provided to each roll can be separately controlled and the lubrication is fed through the center of each roll to provide uniform coverage.  If excess lubricant is provided to the rollers, this lubricant can be drained back into the supply reservoir and reused.

The rollers for these units utilize polyethylene spacers to limit the compression on the rollers’ felt material, which enables the lubricant to better flow through the felt and also increases roll life.  When a roller does need to be rebuilt, the unit’s “clam shell” design allows easy access to the rolls and each roller can be removed from the unit by simply loosening two bolts.  Once a roller is removed, the felt washers and polyethylene spacers can be easily removed and replaced.  Visit Pax’s booth # D40802 to view and learn more about these innovative rollers, which are available for material up to 72” wide.
  • To provide easier access to the press’ die area, many of Pax’s oscillating conveyors, (shakers), now have an option for a quick-release arm, (QRA).  The QRA option enables the operator to quickly and easily remove and re-install the arm, (crossbar), without the use of tools, which enables the operator to access the press die area without reaching over the arm.  Visit Pax’s booth # D40802 to learn more about this feature and to learn how to retrofit it onto your existing Pax shaker unit.
  • Pax Products designs conveyors up to 72” wide that can be equipped with powered tilt, powered horizontal movement, and powered vertical movement.  The conveyors can also be designed on cantilevered stands, (fixed or on wheels), that allow the conveyor to reach through the press uprights and into the die area.  To achieve these powered movements, Pax utilizes electromechanical actuators, which provide increased safety as compared to typical systems that utilize either pneumatic or hydraulic power.  Visit Pax’s booth # D40802 to learn more about these designs can help in your applications.
