Prime Controls introduces the latest in Double Sheet Detection innovations with the DS-FLEX Double Sheet Detection System. Leveraging the company’s 30-year history in double sheet detection, Prime Controls has produced the next evolution of double sheet detection.
The DS-FLEX is a multi-channel, mix-n-match double sheet detector that offers users the ability to detect double sheets of metal, the presence or absence of metal, all within one detection system. The system can be configured to operate two separate single-contact probes, two separate pass-through probe sets, or one single-contacting probe and one pass-through probe set. The DS-FLEX detects both ferrous and non-ferrous metal types, ranging from metal thicknesses of .25mm-6.35mm (.01”-.25”) for ferrous metals and .025mm-3.81mm (.001”-.150”) for non-ferrous metals.
