    Planar 2D P150.35 with SurfScan, OptiScan and AOI


    The P150.35 fabrication inspection system quickly performs 2D inspection, CAD comparison, and reverse engineering of flat parts. It can take up to 40 million measurements in 0.1 seconds and is the fastest system in the world for flat part inspection. It is a versatile inspection system designed for use in many fields including the electronics & communication, automotive, and aerospace industries. 


    The robust design is vibration and scratch proof and has no moving parts that can wear and fail, making the P150.35 a reliable investment that is built to last and reduce costly inspection bottlenecks.


    Planar 2D P70.20 with SurfScan and AOI


    The P70.20 system easily inspects parts quickly and automatically. It has ultra-fast reverse engineering capabilities and its tough construction makes it the ideal inspection system for all environments. Easily integrate your existing SPC software with the machine for a seamless transition into the shop floor workflow. 


    The 39.4” x 26.3” glass table top resides in a welded steel enclosure housing the high efficiency LED light source and can be retrofitted with a 3D scanner. The P70.20 system quickly scans and reverse engineers flat parts manufactured on laser, plasma, and water jet cutting systems in addition to punched and stamped parts and is suitable for a variety of industrial applications. Its compact footprint makes it the ideal inspection system for smaller fabrication shops.



    All Planar models can be retrofitted with accessories to improve performance and application capabilities like the Opti-Scan: a high speed, high resolution industrial camera that captures the 3D edge measurements of critical features like hole size and position.


  • Area of Interest (AOI)
    Planar 2D measurement systems are no longer limited to measurements acquired from a part’s silhouette and can now measure part characteristics that were previously inaccessible with the new Area of Interest (AOI) option!...

  • The new Area of Interest (AOI) option from InspecVision can be retrofitted to any existing planar machine and enables the system to measure a part’s blind surface features with high precision using Lights from Above (LFA). The AOI option only measures the user defined geometry of a part, even if it has thousands of features.


    Blind features such as pin or insert diameters, counter sinks, bevels, chamfers, slots, and blind holes can now easily be inspected. The AOI feature can also measure gaskets with surface features, printed materials, labels, and stickers. 


    AOI can also measure cutout features on square tubes!  Previously impossible to measure with a 2D system, AOI provides the ability to measure cutouts on square or round tubes.


    The addition of AOI to any Planar machine adds flexibility and precision to the system’s capabilities and is an affordable solution for manufacturers looking to enhance their measurement capabilities.
