• RENTAL PIPE WELD PREPARATION TOOLS OFFERED FOR TUBE & PIPE 1" TO 36" O.D. (Aug 04, 2023)

  A complete line of tools for tube and pipe weld preparation, including I.D. and O.D. clamping types and specialty saws, are offered for rental with same-day delivery is available from Esco Tool of Holliston, MA.

  Esco's Rental Tools Program includes a broad line of beveling tools for weld preparation on tube and pipe from 1" to 36" O.D. and saw and track systems for cutting pipe up to 60" O.D. Manufactured and supported by their US factory, the company also offers emergency support to minimize downtime.

  Users can select from the full line of MILLHOG® I.D. clamping tools and the COHOG® O.D. clamping tools from Esco's Rental Tools Program, which can perform any degree of bevel on all alloys and cut heavy-wall pipe. Applications include metalworking, power, refineries, and shipbuilding. 

• PIPE WELD PREPARATION TOOL IDEAL FOR HIGHLY ALLOYED MATERIALS (Aug 04, 2023)

  ESCO TOOL OF HOLLISTON, MA INTRODUCED an I.D. clamping pipe beveler that features robust construction to bevel highly alloyed materials such as super duplex and P-91 without requiring cutting fluids.

  The Prepzilla MILLHOG® Pipe Beveling Machine is a self-centering I.D. clamping pipe weld preparation tool that features robust construction with proprietary bearings, gears, and heat-treated hardened clamping. It is ideal for highly alloyed materials such as super duplex stainless steel and P-91, it has a blade lock system with cutting blades that transfer heat away from the pipe surface to prevent work hardening without cutting fluids.

  Producing high torque at low RPM, the Prepzilla MILLHOG® Pipe Beveling Machine ranges from 1.575" I.D. to 8.625" O.D. with only one mandrel and eight sets of interchangeable clamps. It is equipped with a 3-blade holder, can perform any angle of bevel, face, and bore simultaneously, and has a 2 HP pneumatic motor with electric and hydraulic motors also offered.

• FLANGE FACING TOOL EASY TO SETUP AND OPERATE MANUALLY (Aug 04, 2023)

  A hand-operated flange facing tool· that produces a phonographic finish and eliminates the need for flange replacement or using more specialized, complex tools has been introduced by Esco Tool of Holliston, MA.

  The Esco FLANGE HOG 110® is a hand-operated hand tool that re-faces damaged pipe flanges with a stock phonographic finish on-site and meets ASME B16.5 standards. Easy to setup and operate without speci lized operator training, it squares itself to a flange when clamped to the I.D. and eliminates the need for flange replacement or using more specialized, complex tools.

  Available with two interchangeable cross feeds for producing a smooth and stock finish on RF and FF gasket seats, the FLANGE HOG 110® mounts to the flange I.D. in seconds with a clamping range of 0.9" to 10" and 0.005" alignment accuracy. It is ideal for re-facing a variety of flange materials including cast iron, carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys.
