Since its inception, AMADA AMERICA, Inc. has provided manufacturers with innovative, productivity-enhancing sheet metal machines, including fiber lasers, turret punch presses, combination machines, press brakes, automation systems, and software. In February of 2013, AMADA opened a state-of-the-art Manufacturing Facility in Brea, California. This 180,000 sq. ft. facility is one of AMADA's mainstay production plants that provides localized, world class manufacturing of lasers and automated systems.

Opened in December of 2019, AMADA's 197,000 sq. ft. Carolina Manufacturing Center in High Point, NC is dedicated to providing North American fabricators state-of-the-art bending solutions and automated systems. The new HRB Series press brakes manufactured in this facility can be equipped with a diverse range of productivity-enhancing features to resolve specific manufacturing challenges.     

AMADA TOOL AMERICA's 72,000 sq. ft. facility has been manufacturing punch press tooling for 50+ years. Two years ago, AMADA expanded this facility to produce press brake tooling for the HRB Series press brakes built-in the Carolina Manufacturing Center.

  • AMADA’s latest generation of servo-controlled press brakes, the EGB 6020 ATC e, is equipped with a high-performance electric drive system combined with an Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) and voice command control. These production-enhancing features ensure high-speed bending and repeatable accuracy even if an operator lacks experience. In addition, a compact, newly-redesigned ATC can precisely load complex tool layouts within minutes—making it the ideal solution for variable lot sizes and the seamless introduction of rush jobs.

    An integrated HMI control tablet is positioned above the tooling bed to provide convenient access to bending data, thereby maximizing efficiency and productivity. A backgauge camera connects to the HMI tablet and AMNC 4ie control to ensure the correct bend position. The intelligent AMNC 4ie control provides operator face recognition and allows voice commands to request, change, and verify bend information while the operator is on the move—all as an automatic foot pedal slides to the next bending position to ensure continuous operation.

    To further boost productivity, Bi-S II Bend Indicator Sensors automatically measure
    and correct bend angles up to 85% faster than Bi-S technology. And a new electric Auto-Crowning system maintains longitudinal accuracy throughout production. Additional EGB e models available later this year: 6020 standalone, 8025 standalone, 1303 standalone, and 1303 ATC.

  • AMADA's REGIUS Series combines the world’s fastest 3-axis linear drive system with a variety of autonomous features to ensure high-speed, continuous operation. The Laser Integration System (LIS) in the REGIUS consists of a variety of features to significantly reduce setup time and maximize quality. By autonomously monitoring for nozzle condition, pierce penetration, tip ups, and debris on the protection glass, the REGIUS can seamlessly navigate around production issues that may disrupt laser cutting.  


    This innovative fiber laser series utilizes AMADA’s patented ENSIS technology that's engineered specifically for manufacturers that laser cut thin-to-thick materials. The lineup for the REGIUS series consists of the 6kW with two 3kW modules, 9kW with three 3kW modules, and 12kW with three 4kW modules. 

    AMS 3015 CLT Automation System:

    The AMS 3015 CL provides a flexible automation solution that reduces unnecessary machine downtime due to manual material loading. Manufactured with precision in Brea, California, and High Point, NC, the AMS CL automatically and consistently performs material handling operations to maximize machine productivity.

    Expandable as Future Demands Evolve
    The AMS CL is a modular system that allows fabricators to easily expand their automation capabilities. With additional modules, the AMS CL can seamlessly transition from a single-cycle loader to a multi-shelf tower that can support multiple lasers. Asymmetrical design allows modules to be placed on either the front or rear side of a laser’s shuttle table to accommodate material flow.

    TK 3015L Automated Parts Sorting Cell:

    The TK 3015L is designed to unload everything from the most intricate part nests to large panels. As laser nests are typically programmed with parts for different jobs, the TK-L optimizes downstream processes making production more efficient and profitable. The TK-L minimizes the chance for errors to occur during downstream operations by stacking parts according to the next phase in production.

    A high-brightness fiber laser oscillator maintains optimal quality of the high-energy density laser beam. As a result, VENTIS provides virtually dross-free cutting of a variety of materials and thicknesses including stainless steel and aluminum.

    Productivity Mode

    Quality Mode

  • The HRB ATC Series leverages AMADA’s industry-leading bending technology and a variety of production-enhancing features to provide an outstanding price/performance ratio. For example, Bend Indicator Sensors ensure accurate bend angles without the need for test bends, and the HRB’s crowning system provides consistent angle accuracy across the entire bend length. AGRIP-A punch holders quickly and easily lock tooling into the appropriate position to reduce setup time by up to 60%.

    Adding a Sheet Follower system ensures safe and efficient processing/material handling of large cumbersome parts. And, an automatic foot pedal speeds production by moving to the proper position throughout production. The inclusion of a double clamp backgauge provides accurate processing of complex shapes.

    The addition of AMADA’s patented Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) makes it possible to achieve even the most complex tool setups in 4 minutes or less. The ATC is an ideal solution for variable lot sizes, complex tool layouts, and the seamless introduction of rush jobs.     To boost productivity, 4' x 8' sheets can be loaded to process two 4' x 4' workpieces sequentially. Sliding enclosure doors on both sides and a pull-out cutting pallet provide maximum work area accessibility and optimal workspace efficiency.  Additionally, user-friendly features ensure the productivity of this highly adaptable fiber laser solution — regardless of the operator’s level of experience.

  • The LC 2515 C1 AJ is engineered for high-speed productivity by combining the forces of a 22-ton turret punch press with the flexibility of a 3kW fiber laser. To maximize punching productivity in conjunction with laser cutting, the C1 AJ features a 44-station MPT (Multi-Purpose Turret). In addition to ensuring maximum speed, the highly-efficient fiber laser uses approximately a third of the electricity when compared to a CO2 system.

    The laser head moves in the Y-axis via a direct drive servomechanism for maximum speed and accuracy and is isolated from punching vibration to help maintain beam integrity and cut quality. Reliability is further enhanced by a gap near the laser axis which is engineered to allow cutting gas and slag to escape without impacting processing. A cartridge-type lens provides for simple and fast lens changes. In addition, the use of non-contact sensor technology ensures that the laser beam remains focused on the sheet, thereby guaranteeing maximum quality and consistent cutting operations.

    Unique features of the MPT include four tapping tool stations and three innovative die lift stations. The die stations automatically lift to facilitate upward forms while reducing material scratches and preventing downward forms from hitting the forming dies during sheet movements. Additionally, a brush table automatically lifts to support material and minimize scratching to eliminate the need for secondary finishing.
