From 1992 Matter is EPC contractor for handling and storage systems, offering technical solutions aimed to improve the internal logistics. Matter is the sole contractor of the entire storage system production process, from design and supply to construction, installation and after sale assistance. Moreover, an in-house high skilled team of engineers is specifically dedicated to software design and development, providing advanced industrial automation solutions and integrated board machine systems. Matter specializes in the design and installation of technical vertical intra-logistics solutions for the steel industry, especially for bars, tubes, billets, sheets, dies and components handling and vertical storage.
Matter Automation division designs and develops the WMS software that manages the automatic warehouse: thanks to specific interfaces, the software is totally integrable with all the management systems available on the market. Moreover, configuration and parametrization are absolutely easy, thus allowing an efficient management of the different types of warehouses and goods (distribution/production). Thanks to its modular structure, the software can generate withdrawal/storage missions both for automated systems and for operators (manual handling). Every operator has its own credentials that allow specific functions.
