Simply said, the Aquasol POM®-100B and POM®-5B is a battery-powered, Bluetooth transmitting, rechargeable, handheld digital oxygen monitor with an internal pump that accurately measures oxygen concentration with 0.01% (100 PPM) or 0.005% (5 PPM) resolution. Oxygen is displaced by the purge gas to a pre-determined level set by the operator. Evacuation of oxygen is paramount in high purity welding to prevent oxidation, discoloration, and coking.

Patented and practical, EZ Purge is a pre-formed, self-adhesive purge dam that enables operators to save time on weld preparation and improve overall project timeliness. EZ Purge has tapered side walls to fit a variety of pipe schedules and its flat design enables equal distribution of gases across the body of the dam.

Compatible with any metal, SoluGap provides the 1/16ʺ (1.6 mm) minimum gap required by ANSI 31.1, Section III, ASME, US Navy and Military Codes, eliminating the need for pre-measuring and guesswork. SoluGap is also available in 1/8″ (3.2 mm) thickness.

SoluGap features a unique 3-tabbed edge design that allows the spacers to remain secure in any pipe orientation.

SoluGap is U.S. manufactured and comprised of Aquasol’s environmentally safe, water soluble composite board. It dissolves completely and rapidly in most liquids, allowing for easy post-weld clean up.

EZ Zone® tape is the perfect, innovative solution for preventing weld seam contamination by sealing the root gap between two pipes and retaining the argon gas. The tape consists of two adhesive-coated aluminum strips on the outer edges and an adhesive-free area in the middle.

Due to its unique construction, the edges of the aluminum tape adhere to both sides of the root gap of stainless steel and aluminum pipes, while the adhesive-free area is placed directly over the gap. The adhesive never comes into contact with the weld area during welding, resulting in a clean, contamination-free weld seam.

The EZ Zone adhesive tape is free of halogens and fluorocarbons, and consists of aluminum foil with a thickness of 74 micrometers, which adapts optimally to irregular surfaces and is heat-resistant up to 260 °C.

With the EZ Zone tape, the welder can effectively prevent contamination in the weld pool and thus produce more defect-free welds. This advantage made the adhesive tape the standard in the atomic energy sector, the chemical industry, in conventional power plants and in aviation within a very short time.
