“KURIMOTO” End Bending Roll Machine with Horizontal Top Roll Motion: the machine which enables you to enhance productivity by 70%. KURIMOTO is providing a unique bending roll machine which enables you to complete precise circular fabrication, including end-bending just by setting a plain plate at the loading position without any additional correction works by press machines or end cutting. KURIMOTO bending roll has a top roll which moves back and forward horizontally. At the end-bending process the top roll moves to the opposite direction of as the work piece does and do end-bending. KURIMOTO calls it “KOHO MAGE”, which is the patented technology. With this method, KURIMOTO achieves a 1/400mm circularity of the work piece. KURIMOTO’s machine achieves the same end-bending accuracy as press machines, in less than one third of the operating time, because it finishes all the processes with one machine. KURIMOTO offers a variety of models from small size machines with a 25 TON capacity for a 1.6mm thickness, to large ones with 2,500 TON capacity for a 110mm thickness. KURIMOTO has the top share in the Japanese market, and their method is already standard and well known in Japan.
