GLENS FALLS, NY, August 15, 2024 - Barton International, one of the world’s leading producers of premium garnet abrasives, invites waterjet operators to experience the time saving benefits of the abrasive transfer hopper. Holding up to 4,400 lbs., the Barton hopper serves as a bulk supply and distribution bin that feeds garnet to the abrasive delivery pot.
“Our maintenance free hopper addresses the needs of waterjet owners who want to improve the efficiency and safety of their operation,” said Stephen Podnorszki, director of waterjet parts. Custom built in the USA, the hopper improves efficiencies by saving the time and labor associated with handling 55 lb. paper bags, eliminates the risk of torn paper getting into the abrasive, and improves housekeeping by reducing spillage. Designed with safety in mind, a companion stand can be placed over a standard 6-cubic foot abrasive delivery pot with the hopper securely positioned on top.
The hopper will be on display in FABTECH booth S15085 with show specials to be announced in September. For information, contact Barton at info@barton.com or visit https://www.barton.com/garnet-abrasive-transfer-hopper/
