• Tai Chyang Electric has customized rectifier layouts for global distribution. In 2022, they have shipped 2,000 units, overcoming the pandemic challenges. (Aug 08, 2024)

  Tai-Chyang Electric stated that, in addition to hardware electroplating, their applications extend to ABS plastic electroplating, electrolysis, anodizing, electrophoretic painting, as well as seawater desalination, precious metal recovery, and wastewater treatment. The scope of these applications is becoming increasingly broad, and thus, the technology required in this field must be of high quality, precision, and efficiency.

  In addition, reform and innovation in rectifiers are also crucial. Besides adopting new technologies for pulse width modulation, high-frequency systems are used to make the rectifiers more compact and lightweight. These advancements significantly reduce ripple rates, improve efficiency, and enhance plating quality, resulting in smoother and more aesthetically pleasing finishes. Moreover, optimized and diversified cooling systems effectively enhance stability, achieving energy-saving and power-saving effects.

  Lin Bao-Yan, the Vice General Manager of Tai-Qiang Electric, pointed out that the company’s strengths also include rapid and effective surface treatment. "Electroplating involves not only considering materials and processing methods but also encompasses a complex process including grinding, pretreatment, electroplating, post-treatment, and drying.   Lin Bao-Yan mentioned that to meet customer needs, the company excels in manufacturing customized rectifiers tailored to specific requirements. These rectifiers can accommodate various environmental conditions, including input voltage, output voltage, output current, and cooling systems. Additionally, they offer options for integrating various controllers or RS-485 communication systems. This comprehensive and versatile customization ensures that the rectifiers operate reliably and stably over the long term.

  Tai-Chyang Electric was established in 1973, starting from a small 20-ping factory in a family-style house. Today, the company has built a new 2,000-ping factory in Chiayi, and its total production area in Asia has grown to 20,000 pings. The business scope has expanded from the domestic market in Taiwan to include countries such as the United States, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, India, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brazil, and Bangladesh.

  Tai Chyang Electric Co., Ltd. gave back to the community in Tainan by donating a rehabilitation bus worth over 2 million NTD to the Tainan City Government. On the 9th, Mayor Huang Wei-Cher presented a certificate of appreciation to recognize their generous contribution.

  Mayor Huang Wei-Cher stated that the rehabilitation bus helps individuals with physical and mental disabilities address transportation issues related to medical visits, rehabilitation, and social participation. The Social Affairs Bureau is actively replacing outdated vehicles that are over ten years old to enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities while ensuring public safety. As of the end of September, Tainan City has over 98,000 individuals with disabilities, including about 30,000 with physical disabilities, which makes up 30% of the total. Currently, the city operates 155 small rehabilitation buses and one medium-sized rehabilitation bus, providing an average of 280,000 trips per year for people with disabilities. The reservation fulfillment rate has increased to 99.5%.

  Lin Hsün-Yi, the past president of the 12th term of the Xin-Feng Lions Club, was moved by the challenges faced by individuals with physical and mental disabilities due to limited mobility, which affects their ability and willingness to go out and participate socially. He proposed to Xin-Feng Lions Club President Hsu Jung-Yuan the donation of a rehabilitation bus to the Social Affairs Bureau, hoping to inspire societal "goodness" and continue the spirit of "love and service," making Tainan a warmer and more compassionate city.

  The Social Affairs Bureau noted that transportation services in Tainan City are managed by the "Tainan City Tainan City Volunteer Service Association," using surplus from public welfare lottery funds. To meet the needs of individuals with limited mobility, rehabilitation bus service hours are from 6 AM to 11 PM.
