  • APPLICATIONS:  manufacturers who need a high-efficiency multi-purpose flat spray nozzle for pressure washing and other facility maintenance tasks.

    Fabtech 2017, Booth A6559.  Bex, a manufacturer of eductors and spray nozzles for manufacturing and MRO applications, exhibits their high impact spray nozzles, which deliver a flat, thin, fan-shaped spray with sharp definition on all edges, and minimal atomization. The spray is deflected away from the center line of the spray nozzle. With narrower spray angles, the nozzle delivers even greater impact force with narrow coverage.

    Bex FP high impingement nozzles have one-piece construction, and a single clog-resistant through-hole.  Nozzles produce a wide range of spray angles at operating pressures up to 150 psi.

  • WHO BENEFITS?  Manufacturers who need a robust, long-life clip-on nozzle system for production and maintenance applications.

    Fabtech 2018, Booth B5508.  Bex, a manufacturer of eductors and spray nozzles for manufacturing and MRO applications, has introduced a fully modular system of clip-on, adjustable-position nozzles.

    Bex clip-on nozzles fit a standard 9/16” diameter hole on 4 common pipe sizes: 1", 1 ¼", 1 ½", and 2".  They are supplied with spray balls to suit most spray patterns, flow rates, and spray angle requirements. Hundreds of standard nozzle balls and spray options are possible with this flexible, all-purpose system.

    The Bex clip-on nozzle system was built for continuous use over time.  A unique alignment feature holds the ball securely to prevent ball movement while tightening the cap.  The Bex K-Ball cap has reinforced buttress threads, and is manufactured from polypropylene or, for severe service applications, PVDF.  The Bex clamp is the heaviest in the industry, and delivers a long service life. A single clip is rated for 100 psi; if 2 clips are used, they are rated for 150 psi.

    The K-Ball threaded body allows adjustment of the spray pattern direction by simply twisting the K-Ball cap, repositioning the nozzle, and tightening the cap. The cap holds the ball in place at any pressure. The same 52° nozzle angle of adjustability exists in the threaded body as in the K-Ball.

    Fabtech 2018, Booth B5508.  Bex, a manufacturer of eductors and spray nozzles for manufacturing and MRO applications, has introduced a series of eductors for tank mixing applications.

    Bex mixing eductors are designed for tank immersion. Their unique venturi design enables smaller pumps to circulate very large volumes of tank solution.  Bex eductors take advantage of the surrounding liquid to create a high velocity flow yield at the diffuser.  As a result, they circulate up to 5X the pump output – with a discharge plume broader than the jet from a solid stream nozzle of equivalent energy.  Bex eductors with ¼” to 3” ports discharge up to 1410 gallons per minute at 50 psi.

    Bex eductors mix and agitate without introducing air, steam, or contaminants into the solution – a substantial advantage over other mixing devices.  They have no moving parts and are engineered for continuous performance. 

    Bex eductors are manufactured in cast iron, 316 stainless steel, and polypropylene.  Bex eductors are also manufactured in Kynar for applications demanding high  mechanical strength, chemical inertness and thermal stability.

    Bex eductors were engineered for the broadest range of mixing and blending applications; they are also well-suited for maintaining solution uniformity (temperature and concentration) within the tank, for suspending solids, and for sweeping debris toward a filter intake.
