    The e-Series from Universal Robots is the next generation of the light weight, 6-axis, flexible and easy to program collaborative industrial robots or “cobots” – designed to work side-by-side with humans in assembly, polishing, gluing, screwdriving, packaging and machine tending applications.  Each model is named for their payload in kilograms, share 17 advanced adjustable safety functions, built-in force/torque sensing and easy programming using the capacitive touchscreen interface. The UR3e is the smallest cobot used for light assembly tasks and automated workbench scenarios.   • Weighing 63.7 lbs, the UR10e is the largest of the Universal Robots with a payload of 22 lbs and reach capabilities of 51.2”. The UR10e shares the same benefits as the UR5e and UR3e when it comes to safety, precision, and ease of use. Instead of expensive sensor technology, all three robotic arms utilize a unique patented technology to measure electrical current in the joints to determine force and movement. This has resulted in an extremely price-competitive solution enabling even small and medium-sized enterprises to automate production that was previously unthinkable.
    A UR robot doesn’t quit after a year. Rated life is 35,000 hours with full payload and maximum speed. Replacing a joint can be done in 30 minutes.
    All UR robot models can withstand significant environmental impact and changes in temperature. They have low power consumption and a comparatively noiseless operation.
