We are one of a handful of U.S.-based, build-to-order machine tool manufacturers, and have shipped more than 50,000 machines in over a 100 years of operation. From our modern 500,000-square-foot plant and technical center on a 600+ acre site near Cincinnati, Ohio, we engineer and build our machines to the standard of ruggedness required in the North American market – with premium engineering features that stand up to years of rigorous use in demanding environments.

Our drive for innovation is evident in the design of our machines, controls and software. We developed the first linear-motor-driven laser cutting systems, and still produce our own linear motors, controls and software – unique in the industry.

Our machines' endurance is legendary. It is common to see Depression-era CINCINNATI press brakes and shears in daily use today. In fact, one of our first commercial laser cutting systems from the eighties is still in operation. This means low cost of ownership for our customers and high resale values.

Performance? CINCINNATI machines consistently top owner surveys for dependability and satisfaction. We sell direct in the U.S. and our service technicians are factory-trained employees. Parts are ordered through and shipped from our corporate headquarters in Harrison, Ohio.

  • Pressures stemming from today’s global manufacturing environment require continuous improvement to remain competitive.  Management tools, such as value stream mapping, identify bottlenecks and the changes needed to eliminate waste. Flexible work centers are a key requirement of continuous improvement in manufacturing.  Cincinnati’s 60ton Autoform press brake is a flexible machine tool that fits into small workspaces.

    The 60 Autoform is flexible to keep pace with rapidly changing part designs.  Key features include exceptional ram repeatability, long stroke, fast forming speeds, 3D control graphics and now a six axis backgage option making the 60 ton Autoform ideal for forming the complex shapes often created with advanced solid model design software.

    The small footprint hydraulic Autoform complements Cincinnati’s line of small electric press brakes.  Autoform frees floor space and is easy on operators due to its compact ergonomic design. Operators reach the machine’s controls with minimal movement.

    Cincinnati introduced an innovative Angle Measuring technology in conjunction with the release of the electric Goform press brake.  This feature automates the manual method of measuring and adjusting bend angles.  During production, a high-speed digital camera, mounted to the machine, captures images of the bend.  The images are analyzed and the press is commanded to continue bending until the part is within the desired tolerance.

    The 60 Autoform serves a variety of industries including agriculture, refrigeration, food processing and material handling to name a few.  Given the field-proven reliability of its smaller size press brakes, Cincinnati plans to offer even more small tonnage brakes in the future.

  • CI's SAAM HT (Small Area Additive Manufacturing High Temperature) is an all-metal 3D printing system optimal for fabricating functional, end-use parts. Create high temperature tooling, welding fixtures, and robust short-run parts. SAAM HT is optimized for processing carbon fiber reinforced ULTEM 1010. SAAM HT tackles the toughest and most robust 3D printing materials with processing temperatures up to 450°C, bed temperatures up to 250°C, and a heated printing chamber. 

    Paired with CI Print software, operating SAAM HT is as easy as uploading your CAD model and pressing "Print."

It can be retrofitted to some older model CINCINNATI lasers and can be configured to fit in a variety of areas.
