Alpha Laser Welders lead the welding industry in power and capability.  Laser welding is superior to traditional welding in mold repair and utilized to increase mold life and improve the manufacturing process.  It can also be used to combine many different materials such as P-20, Beryllium Copper, Stainless Steel, and more.  These finely tuned machines are engineered to perform the most difficult tasks with ease.  If it can be laser welded, an Alpha Laser can do it efficiently and with the best end result hands down!

 Products

  • AL-Rock Laser
The AL-Rock laser is the first mobile robot for targeted hardening of metal surfaces whether it be at a set work station or deployed on-site to a customer....

  • With the self-driving caterpillar track, you can move the laser right to the workpiece.  There is no need to remove the components to be hardened, and reworking cost is significantly reduced.  The laser beam precisely follows the workpiece contour in free 3D movements.  This allows weld edges, grain structures, and localized areas to be hardened easily.  Temperature-dependent control of the laser power brings the heat precisely to the desired location to achieve the exact degree of hardening needed.  The Al-Rock can also be utilized for Laser Cladding.  Laser Cladding is the process used for bonding one material to the surface of another.  It differes significantly from other cladding techniques such as plasma coating, thermal spray or arc welding.  Laser cladding offers better wear resistance, more design flexibility, little to no distortion, greater impact resistance and less product complexity.
