Applying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to Metal Shop Processes
Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) can be leveraged to optimize metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing shop processes. Machine learning can be used to address the massive amount of information from the growing number of sensors in metal shop production to help companies find new insights more quickly. One of the surprising outcomes from machine learning is its ability to revolutionize the scientific method. Instead of humans conjuring up hypotheses and designing experiments to test those hypotheses to arrive at a thesis, we can now just dump all of the big data into the machine learning system and say "Machine, discover every hypothesis that might be true, and rank them in order for me. With a little bit of human feedback, it can adapt and "learn" to give us better and better results to reach business goals.

Streamline Your Quoting Process with Artificial Intelligence
Sensors and data collection methods have become more affordable and available. While there is an enormous amount of data being generated and stored daily from manufacturers is it being utilized properly? All of this data is extremely useful when applied correctly, but systems must be in place in order to collect, aggregate, analyze and suggest the best decision to be made. Because of this data, artificial intelligence has made its way into manufacturing. Manufacturers on the cutting edge of technological improvements are implementing AI to improve their quoting accuracy and speed. We are even seeing third-party companies offer these capabilities via online portals to smaller shops that may have limited resources when it comes to IT. Join me in this presentation to hear how technology is helping to improve the accuracy and speed of quoting while freeing up valuable time for your employees to acquire new business.
