    United Performance Metals (UPM) released a new corporate video developed as part of the International Titanium Association’s “Industry Spotlight” series. 

    The new corporate video provides an inside look at UPM as narrated by Curt Gillingham, Director of Sales; Jerry St. Clair, Director of Product Management; and Jeff Hopper, Chicago Operations Lead.  The content includes the company genesis, locations, industries served, and the breadth of products and services offered by UPM. 

    Through their narrative, the phrase “Quality Solutions. Trusted Partners” is revealed as more than just a company tagline; but the very heart of UPM itself.    

    As a member of the International Titanium Association, United Performance Metals was honored to be part of the “Industry Spotlight” video series from ITA.  The video premiered between general sessions at the ITA conference in Mobile, Alabama this September.

    United Performance Metals (UPM) received a MANNY Award and was recognized as a Best Place to Work by Cincy Magazine.

    Manufacturers from across greater Cincinnati were honored at the 13th annual MANNY Awards, presented by Cincy Magazine, for achievements in five categories:  Best Place to Work, New Product Development/Innovation, Job Creation, Biggest Breakthrough and Top Growth.

    The MANNY Awards are committed to recognizing the manufacturing industry’s greatest accomplishments.  In doing so, they honor local companies, like United Performance Metals, for their innovation and best practices.  UPM has been active in engaging with its employees, building a workplace offering competitive benefits, flexibility and a positive culture.

    United Performance Metals (UPM) has successfully achieved Pratt & Whitney-LCS approval from Pratt & Whitney Group.  This approval will allow the company’s Greenville, South Carolina branch to begin providing LCS certified materials in both sheet and bar forms to its Southeastern U.S. customer base.

    Pratt & Whitney is a world-class provider of dependable engines, propulsion systems, parts and services.  United Performance Metals is a global leader in distribution of high temperature materials used for critical Aerospace applications.

    “Achieving Pratt & Whitney-LCS certification in Greenville allows us the ability to provide our customers with the P&W-LCS materials they need in the Southeast region, something we really wanted to do to serve that market at the highest possible standards” stated JJ Johnson, Director of Operations.
