• ARC-ZONE.COM® RETURNS TO FABTECH AFTER 20 YEARS (Sep 07, 2019)

  Carlsbad, Calif., September 7, 2019 - Arc-Zone.com® announces it will return as a vendor to the Fabtech Expo 20 years after it debuted as the first online welding supplier. Arc-Zone Founder and CEO, Jim Watson promises a booth full of good people, great products, and big surprises. 

   

  Arc-Zone and their Pro Partners will set-up shop among other top welding suppliers at booth B25117 in Hall B of McCormick Place. The team plans to pull out all the stops to impress spectators just as much as they did during their first Fabtech experience. 

   

  Watson recalls, “Two years after the website launched, I was featured in the American Welding Magazine as an emerging eCommerce company and invited to the 1998 Fabtech show in Chicago. Our booth looked unlike anything there, and people were lined up to see it. But there was no Internet to show the website, so we ran it off of a CD. People were standing around my computer just clicking through each page. It was a pretty cool experience.” 

   

  When Arc-Zone makes its return to Fabtech as the most trusted online welding supplier, it will present an array of high quality tools and accessories designed to make life easier for the everyday welder. • ARC-ZONE.COM® OPENS NEW RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT LAB (Sep 07, 2019)

  Carlsbad, Calif., September 7, 2019 - Arc-Zone.com® expands its business as a distributor to include manufacturing with a brand new research and development lab, the Arc Foundry. Created by Arc-Zone Founder and CEO, Jim Watson, the lab designs and manufactures high quality welding consumables all within the United States.

   

  Located in Vista,CA just a few miles from Arc-Zone’s headquarters, the Arc Foundry is a complete machine shop equipped with CAD and 3-D printing machines. All of the parts are designed, manufactured, and tested by industry professionals Adam Haley, Steve Schumm, and Watson who oversees the entire production.
