  • The ultra-high-speed Electra 10kW fiber laser cutting machine cuts a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials as fast as the thermal process allows. The laser has a wall plug efficiency of up to 40%. A linear drive motor achieves high cutting dynamics and rapid acceleration for high part output. An advanced cutting head features automated adjustment of focus position and focus diameter (zoom focus) to optimize cut quality in both thin and thick materials. A rigid frame design ensures reliable cutting performance at top cutting speeds. LVD’s Touch-L touch screen control and icon-driven user interface make Electra easy to use and operate, and all the more productive. The Electra is equipped with an automatic shuttle table that allows one table to be loaded while the machine is cutting on the other table. Modular automation options are available.

  • The ToolCell automated tool-changing press brake maximizes productivity. The machine features an integrated tool changer and tool storage system. ToolCell automatically selects and places the tooling required for the job. While the operator is preparing parts for the next job, the machine unloads the previous tool setup and loads the next setup, all without manual intervention. The accuracy of bending operations is assured with LVD’s patented Easy-Form® Laser adaptive bending system, standard on all ToolCell models. The system transmits information in real time to the CNC control, which adjusts to ensure the correct angle. The bending process is not interrupted, and no production time is lost.

    The Strippit PX-1530 punch press can punch, form, bend and tap to efficiently complete multiple processes, including complex, three-dimensional parts. With a capacity of up to 200 tools, the ability to use any tool at any angle anywhere on the sheet, and the ability to form flanges up to 3” (75 mm) high, the Strippit PX offers top versatility.

    The single-head system provides 20 indexable tool stations able to hold any size tool, up to a maximum tool diameter of 3.543” (90 mm). Set-up and tool change time is reduced thanks to the circular tool magazine that allows every tool to fully rotate for total flexibility. An Energy Reduction System minimizes the machine’s power consumption. Optional features include Flexible Automation system (FA-P) and Extended Tool Magazine (ETM).

  • The Dyna-Cell robotic bending cell makes its North American debut at FABTECH. Dyna-Cell combines the high-speed Dyna-Press Pro 40-ton electric-drive press brake with a Kuka industrial robot to offer maximum bending productivity in a small footprint of 16ft x 16ft (5m x 5m). This compact unit automates the bending of small- to medium-sized parts at speeds up to 1” (25mm) per second. The Dyna-Cell robot features a patented universal gripper. Users can make bends on three different sides of a part without regripping. Because one gripper fits all applications, production is continuous and uninterrupted. Dyna-Cell offers fast programming: 10 minutes for CAM-generation of the bending and robot program; 10 minutes for set-up and first part generation. When batch sizes are too small to benefit from automation, the press brake can be used in standalone mode.
