    Yamazen Inc. will be exhibiting in booth 1421at Houstex, the Southwest manufacturing trade show, on February 26-28, 2019 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston.

    Brother International Corporation –  The Compact Machining Center SPEEDIO product line: M140X2 16K,  demonstrating multi-face machining with turning speeds up to 2,000 RPM and milling up to 16,000RPM on aluminum, S1000X1 16K, demonstrating high speed with high stock removal on aluminum and featuring Brother’s T200 Rotary Table and the R650X1 HT/10K, demonstrating two different cutting operations on aluminum die cast, utilizing the pallet changer feature. All machines come with the powerful Brother CNC C-00 control. This product line is the Every Shop Machine.

    Brother Continues to Improve Upon High Productivity with the NEWLY Enhanced SPEEDIO R650X2

    One of the biggest enhancements on the R650X2 is the tool changer and magazine. The R650X1, which originally was released in 2015 to assist with larger part machining, came standard with the ability to store 22 tools. The R650X2 has a magazine that has been expanded to house up to 40 tools, an 81% increase. This expanded tool storage allows to further promote process consolidation, productivity and to reduce the amount of downtime for tool replacement.

    The maximum tool weight and length have been increased on the R650X2 to enable a broader range of tool selections. The maximum weight of a tool is 8.8lbs, which is a 33% increase, and maximum tool length 9.8” which is a 25% increase over the R650X1 standards.

    To prevent chips from entering the magazine, a shutter has been installed to separate the machining chamber and the magazine. A coolant nozzle has also been installed to wash the arm that grasps a tool during a tool change.

    The newly enhanced Brother SPEEDIO R650X2’s promotes non-stop machining with its large pallet changer and larger tool magazine.   • Matsuura MAM72-70 Vertical Machining Center
    The MAM72-70V is designed to handle a greater workpiece size than Matsuura’s existing MAM models, and it offers faster response times while delivering higher productivity....

    Introduced in 1991, the Matsuura MAM72 series presented the tower pallet system and remains unrivaled in the marketplace. The MAM72 Series achieves process integration, complex 5-axis machining and versatile functionality in all machining environments. Variable-part, variable-volume production and reliable extended unmanned operation are a standard feature of the MAM72 Series.

    The MAM72-70V is designed to handle a greater workpiece size than Matsuura’s existing models, offers faster response times to the market and delivers an even higher productivity to meet customers’ business requirements for faster cycle times and cost down performance,

    The machine features a maximum workpiece of D700mm x H500mm with a load capacity of 500kgs per pallet: an 11% increase in diameter/height; 43% increase in weight; and 38% increase in envelope volume as compared to the MAM72-63V.

    The MAM72-70V includes a newly developed 4th / 5th axis table equipped with a proven roller gear drive for the 4th axis and direct drive motor for the 5th axis. These enhancements achieve a rapid traverse rate of 50 min-1 and 100 min-1 respectively, enabling high speed, high accuracy and durability in extended performance over the lifetime of the machine.

    The standard MAM72-70V is available as a twin pallet with tool storage capacity that may be extended to 530 tools (matrix type magazine), and optional pallet storage capacity can store 18 pallets in a tower pallet system.

    The MX-850 PC4, an automated version of the large capacity 5-axis vertical machining center....

    • The Matsuura 5-axis machining platform, the MX-850, was developed in response to market demand for a large capacity, high quality, yet cost-effective single table machine. The MX-850 comes equipped with Matsuura’s proven operating system optimizing performance, automation and spindle utilization with up to 90 tools capacity.

    The introduction of the MX-850 now with PC4 for automation has been released. The pallet changer comes with a load capacity of 500kg per pallet and a standard installed Universal Robot Interface to maximize the automation potential.
