The Quebec Metal Transformation Research and Innovation Consortium (CRITM) is a not-for-profit organization. It is the ninth sectoral industrial research group accredited and financed by the Government of Québec.

The mission of CRITM is to increase the wealth of enterprises in metal transformation by supporting innovation. CRITM thus contributes to the realization of applied research projects, company / research centers in the following four axes:

O Process development;

O Design of advanced metal products;

O Reduction of the ecological footprint;

O Reduction of energy consumption.

Today, CRITM has close to 65 members, more than half of whom are SMEs. It is currently engaged in 32 collaborative research projects totaling $ 39.1 million involving $ 9.5 million in CRITM contribution.
