Our history is high purity metals which we now channel into metal powders for AM.   Our partnership with Metalpine GmbH in Austria gives us a global supply chain of high sphericity gas atomized powders in a huge melt range of 60⁰C to 3400⁰C.    We customize to an extensive range of alloys and PSDs with our specialized atomization technology to give you choice because we believe the market is hungry for more materials that will deliver on specific application and process needs.

Whether you are printing with E-Beam, L-PBF, BJP, DED, Cold Spray, or other, we can create the right PSD match to make your printing process repeatable, reliable, and efficient. Our powders help you get to a high yield of quality parts because they are highly spherical, have low agglomerates and satellites, are high purity, and have low porosity.

A highlight is our high purity (<300ppm O2) Copper as well as other Cu alloys.  We produce metal powders in all the majors – Copper, Steel, Nickel, Titanium, and Refractory and because of the versatility of our atomization process, there are many more possibilities.  5N Plus is eager to learn about your material needs to help make your application successful.

    Copper Alloys

    CuCr1Zr

    C18150

CuCr1Zr is a hardenable copper alloy, which combines high strength and hardness with a very low thermal resistance. It has good thermal and electrical conductivity.

    CuNi2SiCr

    C18000

CuNi2SiCr has got even higher strength and hardness than CuCr1Zr at a slightly lower thermal and electrical conductivity.

    OF-Cu

    C10200

High purity oxygen-free copper – highest thermal and electrical conductivity (>99,95% Cu)

  • AM Nickel Alloy Powders

    Ni625

    2.4856

2.4856 is a low carbon nickel-chromium-molybdenum- niobium alloy. Service temperatures from cryogenic to 982°C; outstanding corrosion resistance

    Ni718

    2.4668

2.4668 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with niobium, molybdenum, aluminium and titanium; outstanding mechanical properties and corrosion resistance

    K500

K500 is a Nickel Copper alloy which combines the excellent corrosion resistance and great strength and hardness. The increase in strength and hardness is a result of the precipitation hardening by the additions of titanium and aluminum.
