  • Bonita Springs, Florida – August 20th, 2021: ADDMAN Engineering, LLC, (“ADDMAN”) a provider of additive manufactured products and subtractive manufacturing services, is excited to announce the hiring of three new engineers to the team as they continue to grow and expand by hiring the best and brightest minds in Additive Manufacturing. 

    Adrian Emens will be joining in the role of Service Engineer. He is a factory-trained service engineer with experience at Additive Industries and 3D Systems. Adrian holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, and Communications Engineering Technology from Old Dominion University. He also holds a master’s degree in Business Information Technology Management from Western Governors University. 

    Matt Duffey will be joining in the role of Senior AM Engineer. Matt brings years of experience to ADDMAN, having worked at EWI and Renishaw. He worked with Action Mold & Machining in Advanced Development. Matt has a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Engineering from Purdue University. His extensive knowledge and experience will be invaluable to ADDMAN. 

    Todd Durham will be joining in the role of AM/Scanning Engineer. He interned at General Atomics during college. Todd recently graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He brings extensive experience in AM and reverse engineering to the team. 

    All three new hires will be joining a team of expert engineers that specialize in additive manufacturing solutions. ADDMAN helps clients make breakthroughs in their product development and manufacturing through additive manufacturing and advanced technologies.

  • Bonita Springs, Florida – April 19th, 2021: ADDMAN Engineering, LLC, (“ADDMAN”) a provider of additive manufactured products and subtractive manufacturing services, an affiliate of American Industrial Partners, today announced that Joseph Calmese has been named as chief executive officer. Mark Saberton, who has been acting CEO will continue as Chief Technical Officer & Founder for ADDMAN. Mr. Calmese’s employment with ADDMAN will commence in mid-April.

    Mr. Calmese has eight years of senior management experience, including strategic management, business modeling, mergers and acquisitions, and high growth innovation leadership. Most recently, Calmese lead Honeywell’s Alerton global business unit in the building automation industry. Prior to that, Mr. Calmese served as the chief business officer for Mark Andy, Inc, a global supplier of printing and packaging equipment.

    “Joe is the right leader at the right time for ADDMAN,” said Danny Davis, a partner at American Industrial Partners and board member of ADDMAN. “Joe’s combination of experience in innovation, manufacturing, and business development will strengthen our existing partnerships while leading ADDMAN through rapid growth for years to come.     Mr. Calmese began his career as an advanced manufacturing engineering – focusing on automation projects for the HVAC industry. Mr. Calmese worked on custom automated machines, laser welding, and software control systems before moving to Bastian Robotics as a project leader. After leaving Bastian, Mr. Calmese lead innovation projects for Mark Andy before joining the business leadership team in 2013. From there, Mr. Calmese ran several businesses for Mark Andy through acquisitions and organic growth. Mr. Calmese joined Alerton in 2020 and lead the organization through the global COVID 19 pandemic recovery and a new round of innovation investments.

    Mr. Calmese received a BS in Physics from Illinois College and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.

  • Bonita Springs, Florida – May 5, 2021ADDMAN Engineering (Bonita Springs, FL/Westfield, IN), a full-service Additive Manufacturing Solutions Provider (ITAR/ISO9001/AS9100), is pleased to announce the purchase of a Velo3D Sapphire System.  To be installed in the Indianapolis facility, this system will be dedicated to running Inconel 718 for a wide variety of industries with our aerospace clients having immediate production needs.   

     With an AI-powered full-stack solution including integrated Flow™ design software and Assure™ quality assurance, VELO3D Sapphire allows for simplification of parts, previously impossible geometries, and shorter print times, without the constraints that come with traditional manufacturing or other AM providers.

     ADDMAN Engineering closed on the purchase of 3rd Dimension Industrial 3D Printing in March 2021.  In a little over a month since the acquisition, additional highly skilled staff have been hired to support the growing relationships with existing aerospace clients. Additional machining, quality, and capacity expansions are also being realized.  Already AS9100 certified, the quality department is being bolstered through the addition of a Creaform EXAscan Black and a high-end CMM.  Planning for NADCAP accreditation is also in progress.

  • ADDMAN Engineering group, an American Industrial Partners company, has closed on its acquisition of 3rd Dimension Industrial Printing (Westfield, IN). 3rd Dimension is a premier provider of metal Additive Manufacturing and CNC engineered solutions. With this acquisition, ADDMAN adds a wide range of metal printing capabilities as well as traditional subtractive processes. This will be ADDMAN’s second Additive Manufacturing location in addition to the headquarters and innovation center in Bonita Springs, FL.

    Located near Indianapolis, IN, 3rd Dimension is an industrial Additive Manufacturing supplier. Their capabilities span both additive and subtractive processes and range from prototype to production. Founded in 2013 by Bob Markley, 3rd Dimension has printed parts for high-profile aerospace, racing, and consumer goods industries.
