Volunteer Aerospace is a woman owned small business focusing on additive manufacturing. Volunteer Aerospace developed out of a Defense Production Act Title III Program focused on 3d printing liquid rocket engine components.
Currently, Volunteer Aerospace services the aerospace and defense industries offering engineering services, training, and rapid product realization. Typical production includes research and development efforts, liquid rocket engine components, helicopter gearboxes, advanced electronics cooling systems, and small arms components.
Volunteer Aerospace also excels at materials development for additive manufacturing. Current development work includes high strength aluminum alloys and nickel-based super alloys. Future projects include tungsten and tungsten alloys, titanium alloys, and aluminides.
