AM-Flow enables companies to scale their Additive Manufacturing production by providing digital part identification solutions that allow companies to automate their post-processing workflow. Combining expert knowledge in 3D-shape identification, industrial machine vision, and AI software, together with the integration of AM production-line hardware and MES software, AM-Flow delivers building blocks to automate the 3D printing process end-to-end.

At Rapid+TCT, we will present AM-VISION, AM-SORT, AM-LOGIC, and AM-ID.

AM-VISION part recognition puts you in control of your workflow. AM-VISION uses machine learning algorithms to identify parts. Parts are identified based on their unique geometry using computer vision technology. The benefits are clear: cost reduction, less manual handling, quality improvement, and lead time minimalization. 
AM-VISION can identify any 3D printed part, even given the infinity of geometries that need to be dealt with, considering that you can print any geometry based on complete freedom of design. Once a part is identified, you can route this part to the next batch step through AM-SORT. You are now in control of the workflow in post-processing and can take the first step towards your lights-out factory.

With our proprietary workflow software, AM-LOGIC, we provide digital tracking and tracing to make paper use in our industry something of the past. Our LOGIC software connects to your ERP or MES software, enabling full tracking and tracing of your parts throughout production. The benefits are clear: increased workflow efficiency, tracking & tracing, certifiable production process, automatic data entry, automatic counting, and Industry 4.0 Digital Thread.

AM-BAGGING is our Tabletop Bagging & Labelling module, fully integrated with LOGIC and SORT. It provides a min-max bag size of 55-260 x 102-430 mm. At 25 bags per minute, you have a good takt time to process your 3D printed parts. The benefits are clear: customized bagging, lead time reduction, and fully customizable labels.

In addition, we will also introduce AM-ID, our solution to identify 3D printed parts using tags or explicit identifiers such as QR codes, barcodes, and alphanumeric coding. AM-ID can also be connected to the AM-LOGIC software or directly used in your ERP/MES platform.

  • Identifying parts has become a time consuming, labor-intensive task. VISION uses machine learning algorithms to identify parts based on their unique geometry. Each part is recognized in 0.2 seconds, and every 5 seconds, a part rolls off the conveyer belt. By connecting our LOGIC software to your ERP or MES software, printing paper to track and trace your parts throughout production is history. Workflow information of each part is displayed on the LOGIC interface and is automatically sent to your ERP or MES system. VISION is the initial step in realizing a full lights-out post-production factory. Once the part is identified, you can decide where the part needs to go next. You control the workflow and where parts are going, through each menu for each part and ultimately to the DC for shipping.
