CM Furnaces designs and builds furnaces for additive manufacturing of metal and ceramic materials.  We can debind, sinter and anneal metals such as stainless steel, nickel alloys, titanium, superalloys as well as ceramic materials such as aluminum oxide and many others.  

We offer furnaces with process environments of air, hydrogen, inert and vacuum.  Though many of our furnaces are of standard design and construction, CM has produced specialized, highly custom furnaces for a variety of applications to meet exacting requirements of industrial, educational, and government users.

  • CM Furnaces is currently celebrating its 75th anniversary. The company was started in 1946, primarily serving the Lighting, Molybdenum and Tungsten industry. Since that time, it has grown, providing furnaces for 12 different industries worldwide. CM is a major producer of laboratory and production furnaces for numerous applications.
