Craftbot is a developer, innovator and manufacturer of 3D printers. The Hungarian company is based in Budapest and was founded in 2014. The company’s first 3D printer to utilize FFF technology, has entered the market in August 2014 backed by a successful launch. Since its foundation Craftbot has designed and manufactured 10 different 3D printer models and has sold more than 10.000 units worldwide. Currently the company’s yearly production capacity is between 3-5000 pieces depending on the model composition.
Craftbot’s value proposition
Being an innovator with our own in-house capabilities, developing the hardware is only one part where we have also created the firmware and slicing software for a complete ecosystem, in order to provide a complete 3D printing solution to our users.
Several international awards serve as a testament to its high quality and good value for money: 3D Hubs, one of the most important online portals of the trade has selected Craftbot Plus as the best Budget category (i.e. best value) 3D printer in 2016, and it has been awarded back-to-back ‘Best Plug&Play’ prizes in 2017 and 2018 by the same.
Due to consistent efforts to innovation, we are offering the 4th generation of the original Craftbot Plus printer, moreover, and we have also introduced the Craftbot Flow Generation which consists of single and dual head printers in normal and XL versions.
Industries we serve
Many educational institutions, are buying 3D printers, in particular for engineering, science and visual arts courses. These courses offer students the necessary skills needed for the creation of 3D computer models. Some universities have bought sophisticated 3D printing machines, leading both public and private organizations to produce prototypes. Universities, which have purchased 3D printers are building bridges between themselves and employers.
