Drawing on more than 20 years of experience in development and manufacturing polymer-based 3D printing materials, we boost the additive manufacturing market by enabling infinite 3D applications to come true with INFINAM®—our brand for ready-to-use formulations.

Based on our deep materials expertise and innovative strength, we want to drive industrial scale 3D printing as manufacturing technology along the entire value chain.

 Products

  • INFINAM® PA/TPA/TPC High performance powders
Evonik offers a wide range of ready-to-use powders of the INFINAM® brand like PA 12, PA 613, TPA or TPC suitable for common powder bed fusion additive manufacturing technologies....

  • INFINAM® PA - Polyamide 12
This high-performance material can be used in selective laser sintering (SLS), high speed sintering (HSS) as wellas multi jet fusion (MJF) technologies and is expected to enable additive production of three-dimensional plastic parts for demanding applications.

    INFINAM® PA - Polyamide 613
Evonik has developed a new polymer powder for applications in higher temperature range as part of its polyamide 6 series.  This new polyamide powder features high mechanical strength as well as excellent chemical and temperature resistance. Its heat deflection temperature (HDT B) is around 195°C. Moreover, the powder material stands out for its low water absorption – below 3 percent —, which has a positive effect on processability in 3D printing and the dimensional stability of printed 3D components.

INFINAM® TPA - Thermoplastic amides (elastomers)
INFINAM® TPA powder from Evonik is a flexible, lightweight-construction material distinguished by its very low density of 1.01 g/cm³ and a Shore A hardness of 91. The high-performance powder is excellently suited for production of functional high-tech 3D plastic parts—prototypes as well as series products—that call for high extensibility and energy return, such as sports equipment or automobile components.

INFINAM® TPC - elastomers (flexible copolyesters)
Evonik has developed two new thermoplastic elastomer powders of the INFINAM® TPC brand for powder bed fusion to meet the growing demands of the 3D printing industry. The new copolyester powders are highly elastic and flexible, yet exhibit excellent recovery. The powders are available in white or black depending on the application, and are suitable for use in common powder-based 3D printing technologies, such as selective laser sintering (SLS). At processing temperatures, the flow characteristics of the new powder formulations are also impressive, allowing manufacturers to make efficient use of the full installation height of the powder bed during the 3D printing process.

  • INFINAM® ST/TI/RG/FL High performance resins
Evonik has launched a new product line of INFINAM® branded ready-to-use photopolymer resins suitable for use in common vat polymerization technologies such as SLA or DLP....

  • INFINAM® TI - Impact resistant
INFINAM® TI 3100 L is the first high-performance material from Evonik's photopolymer product family. It leads to high toughness and impact-resistant 3D partsThe combination of properties makes INFINAM® TI 3100 L the new standard for additive manufacturing of industrial components using vat polymerization technologies such as SLA and DLP. The toughness of the printed components is 30 J/m3 with a high elongation at break of well over 100%. The new material can therefore withstand strong impact or permanent mechanical effects such as pressing or impact.

    INFINAM® ST - High-strength
INFINAM® ST 6100 L is another high-performance material from Evonik's photopolymer product family. This new ready-to-use formulation fills the material gap in high-strength materials for vat polymerization 3D printing technologies (SLA, DLP).New benchmark in high strength photo-resin category with a combined tensile strength of 89 MPa, flexural stress of 145 MPa and HDT of 120 °C, which fills the material gap in ultra high strength photopolymers. These special material properties make INFINAM® ST 6100 L the material of choice for applications which need high temperature resistance combined with high mechanical strength.

    INFINAM® FL - Flexible
With INFINAM® FL 6300 L, Evonik and the Viennese 3D printing company Cubicure are commercializing an innovation project jointly launched in 2019. The hot lithography printing process developed by Cubicure makes it possible for the first time to process highly viscous light-curing polyester-based resins. In contrast to conventional stereolithography, Hot Lithography creates objects at an elevated processing temperature using light-induced polymerization. The process allows a significantly wider range of processable components. The result of this collaboration is the first industrially suitable elastomer from the photopolymer class. INFINAM® FL 6300 L enables the additive manufacturing of highly flexible 3D objects that excel in material properties essential for elastomers: in addition to outstanding low-temperature elasticity, its strengths include dynamic load cycles of up to one million load cycles.

  • INFINAM® PEEK High performance filament
Evonik has developed a new 3D printable filament based on PEEK (polyether ether ketone). The high-temperature and chemical-resistant ready-to-use material is particularly suitable for the additive manufacturing of demanding industrial plastic parts....

  • With INFINAM® PEEK 9359 F, Evonik now offers a new filament for industrial 3D applications. The natural-colored PEEK filament, which has a diameter of 1.75 mm, is wound on 500 g spools suitable for direct use in standard FFF/FDM 3D printers for PEEK materials. Thanks to its unique properties, such as high mechanical strength, hydrolysis resistance, or inherent flame retardancy, it is particularly suitable for the production of lightweight and high-performance 3D parts for the aerospace, automotive, and oil & gas industries.
