Seatless pressure clamping requires no preliminary machining of the rough work piece. Minimal compact gripping mechanism starts at 2.5mm or a higher 5mm version is also available to hold the part. The forces generated to clamp the work piece are divided between two axis lines resulting in minimal deformation of the part. The gripping jaws come in a variety of sizes and features with two interchangeable independent inserts. The different inserts types can be selected for rough non finished surface to finished surface applications. The Grip Vise is easily positioned on the FCS M16 50mm grid system, M12 25mm grid system, smaller pallet selections or raised on our body systems. Work pieces are easily clamped and centered within a position accuracy of +- .02mm.

The FCS round pallet 180mm is a very versatile work holding system using a grid step of 15mm and our M6 clamping ring system to hold smaller detail work pieces. Work pieces can be raised of the pallet surface with the spacer rings in multiples of 8mm up to a 32mm distance when four rings are combined. The pallet has 81 potential clamping seats available within the diameter of 180mm. This allows for total flexibility to find a suitable clamping position on the part file. The pallet can be mounted using our M16 or M12/M16 body reductions to raise a workpiece to a desired height off the table. The pallet is also available with a dedicated receiver to clamp with an automatic clamping system for automation applications.
