Sodick pioneered the development of Numerically-Controlled Electric Discharge Machines, with a philosophy to develop machine tool technology that addresses our ‘customers’ most challenging manufacturing needs.
Our machines are equipped with CNC controls, flat rigid linear motors, and motion controllers which are all developed in-house. We have produced and shipped over 60,000 machines worldwide. Sodick’s 10-year positioning accuracy guarantee continues to receive high customer acclaim for its highly unchanged, stable accuracy for ten years or more after installation.
