Whether on milling or drilling machines, profile or surface grinding machines, or on the spindles of dividing heads and lathes, the EROWA PowerChuck P workpiece palletizing system is the most flexible and precise interface between machine and workpiece. The new PowerChuck P chucks and pallets are 100% compatible with the previous versions as well.

The 10,000 N clamping force in the PowerChuck P chuck guarantees a powerful and reliable hold during workpiece manufacturing. The compact, low profile design of the clamping system leaves plenty of room for workpieces and their machining.

Another beneficial aspect of the new PowerChuck P is the use of low-wear ceramic clamping balls. These guarantee consistent, low maintenance performance over a longer period of time over the previous clamping balls.

Lastly, like its predecessor, the new PowerChuck P workpiece palletizing system can be automated throughout. Sealing rings protect the chucks from waste and guarantee safe automatic loading.

Workpieces with a maximum weight of 800kg and a size of up to Ø850x1,000mm can be loaded onto the machine tool safely and reliably. The Robot is optimally suitable for moving pallets from our EROWA MTS system, which are predominantly used for milling and grinding.

The workpiece magazine can be configured with up to 12 magazine positions when using the EROWA MTS 400 workpiece carrier pallets (400x460mm). The magazine plates can be rotated which makes it easier to fit palletized fixtures and tombstones with workpieces directly in the Robot magazine. The workpieces to be machined are prepared at a central set-up station. The maximum magazine capacity is 7.0 tons

With the optional jib crane and the EROWA LiftGear gripper, the palletized workpieces can be loaded into the Robot magazine safely and reliably. The pre-centering process facilitates pallet positioning which makes loading and unloading simplified, and changing times are significantly reduced.

The Robot Easy 800 has a compact monobloc design, which requires only 20 sq/ft floor space, and can be positioned by the machine, installed and made operational in no time. If production needs change, the function and magazine positions can be adapted to suit these requirements.
